24th International Passive House Conference to be Held Online

September 17, 2020

Instead of packing our bags and traveling to Berlin for the 24th Annual International Passive House Conference, we will be putting on our nicest dress shirts and coziest sweatpants to attend this virtual conference. The conference will take place from Sept 20 until Oct 8 on Wednesdays and Thursdays 9:00am-11:30am and 5:00pm‑7:30pm. View the entire schedule here.

All you’ll need is your conference ticket (purchase here) this year to hear from outstanding speakers in the Passive House world like Professor Wolfgang Feist and renowned climate scientist Professor Stefan Rahmstorf during the opening plenary session Sept 20. Throughout the conference you can also expect to hear from oceanographer Rahmstorf among other leaders about Passive House buildings’ role in climate change mitigation.

Sixteen informational Passive House sessions will tackle the diverse needs and challenges facing the Passive House design and building industry. Sessions will dive deep into topics like retrofitting, cost-effective and socially compatible multistory housing construction, and Passive House tools with experts in the field. Missed a session? No problem. Sessions will also be recorded and available for attendees up to three weeks after the conference.

The Virtual Passive House Exhibition will highlight products for energy efficient construction and retrofitting. Virtual tours of the Passive House exhibition and personal contact with the manufacturers will be available throughout the conference starting today.

Experts and beginners alike can benefit from building tours, informational sessions and virtual networking opportunities at this year’s conference. The 24th annual International Passive House conference ticket will give you access to all events, exhibitions, tours and sessions throughout the three week period. We can’t wait to connect with you at the most accessible International Passive House Conference to date.
