Through 2020, Behavior, Energy & Climate Change (BECC) has been hosting free webinars by prominent behavior scientists whose research is focused on the intersection of climate science and psychology. The next webinar will occur next Tuesday, October 27, between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm (CT), and will be led by Wokje Abrahamse, Senior Lecturer in Environmental Studies at Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand. She hopes to reveal that some commonly held assumptions about behavior change are not entirely accurate, and to then describe how we can more effectively encourage the uptake of pro-environmental behaviors.
