The Global Passive House Happy Hour is held Wednesdays at 4 pm (Pacific), 7 pm (Eastern), midnight (British), and 11 am (Thursdays, Australian Eastern). Join us 30 minutes early for pre-show networking and stick around following the main event for our After Hour!
In celebration of the Passive House Canada Summit this coming week, we’re excited to welcome Chris Higgins, Green Building Planner with City of Vancouver, as featured presenter at the Global Passive House Happy Hour on December 9. Chris is a driving force behind the policy work that has created a rush of Passive House development and market transformation in the city. This progress has inspired and informed the British Columbia Step Code, policy work in Toronto and at the national level in Canada, and Passive House advocacy in the US and worldwide. (Chris recently keynoted at the South Pacific Passive House Conference.)
Chris will share about recent policy successes as well as Vancouver’s raft of climate emergency commitments that passed last month, including their implications for buildings. He’ll also provide key insights from the Passive House Canada Summit, which will have just completed Day Two when the Happy Hour gets underway.
Join us December 9 at the Global Passive House Happy Hour for what promises to be an inspiring session!
