The Global Passive House Happy Hour is held Wednesday at 4 pm (pacific), 7 pm (Eastern), midnight (British), and 9 am (Thursday, Australian Eastern). Join us 30 minutes early for pre-show networking or stick around following the main event four After Hour!
This Wednesday, June 24, we are excited to host Joanna Grab (Senior Sustainability Consultant, Steven Winter Associates) and Jennifer Leone (Chief Sustainability Officer, New York City Department of Housing Preservation & Development) for a lively presentation about their work building a data-based case to persuade lenders to underwrite Passive House projects, plus the role that we practitioners can play to help accelerate the effort.
During the Q&A period, Grab and Leone will be joined by Jamie Bemis and Jon Braman of Bright Power, as well as Danielle Donnelly and Atalia Howe of The Community Preservation Corporation. All six are part of the “Passive Assets” panel at Wednesday afternoon’s NAPHN 2020 Passive House Conference, which our Happy Hour session will build upon. Don’t miss this chance for a dive into the latest phase of the team’s data project, hear their findings, and engage in in free-form Q&A and discussion about how we can drive lenders to support Passive House construction.
