Kim Walton (Bow Crow Design) *plus* Celebrate the 1st Birthday of the Global Passive House Happy Hour (March 17)

March 11, 2021

The Global Passive House Happy Hour is held Wednesdays at 4 pm (Pacific), 7 pm (Eastern), midnight (British), and 11 am (Thursdays, Australian Eastern). Join us 30 minutes early for pre-show networking and stick around following the main event for our After Hour!

At the next Global Passive House Happy Hour (3/17) Kim Walton, founder of Bow Crow Design, will present on preserved wood foundations and Passive House. Kim brings over 40 years of experience designing energy-efficient homes and small buildings. With an emphasis on energy modeling and building science, Kim is a dedicated practitioner of Passive House and Net Zero building principles. She uses preserved wood as a low-cost, low carbon alternative to concrete and will share positive and negative lessons learned.

Plus! This event will mark the one-year anniversary of the Global Passive House Happy Hour, launched at the start of Covid-19 lockdown. To celebrate, we’ll kick the night off with a brief, fun “paper plate awards” ceremony. Submit your award or award-winner nominations here.

Join us on March 17 to gain insight into preserved wood and Passive House with Kim, celebrate one year of Passive House Happy Hours, celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, and wish Shaun St-Amour a Happy Birthday!
