Partel Becomes Founding Sponsor of Passive House Accelerator

February 19, 2021

Back in September we were pleased to share that Partel, Ireland’s leading manufacturer of airtight and windtight systems for Passive House projects, had joined Passive House Accelerator as a Patron sponsor. Today we are excited to announce that, as of 2021, the firm has stepped up to become a Founding sponsor. A double “thank you,” to Partel!

One of the leading specialists in high-performance, sustainable solutions for low-energy buildings, Partel has distribution throughout Ireland, the UK, North America, and mainland Europe. Technical excellence is at the core of their product development. They design and provide an integrated range of airtight and windtight systems, and thermal bridging solutions, that significantly improve the energy efficiency in new and existing buildings.

For a glimpse into Partel and its products, see Partel founder and Technical Director, Hugh Whiriskey, present about the Vara Smart Technical Airtight System at Passive House Accelerator’s October 29th Component Spotlight:

Partel is a key reason that the Accelerator’s programming—our weekly Happy Hours, Construction Tech Tuesdays, podcasts, website, and more—exist and thrive.

“Our programming would be impossible without support from Partel and their fellow Passive House Accelerator sponsors,” said Zack Semke, Director of Passive House Accelerator. “It means a lot to our platform and to our community that Partel has taken this step up to become a Founding sponsor of our work. I know how much our two organizations share a common passion for transitioning to zero carbon buildings as fast as possible. With underwriting like this sponsorship, Partel is supporting the community of practitioners that will make that transition happen.”

All of us on the Passive House Accelerator team look forward to our collaboration with Partel in the coming year and are grateful for their generous support.
