The Global Passive House Happy Hour is held Wednesday at 4 pm (Pacific), 7 pm (Eastern), midnight (British), and 9 am (Thursday, Australian Eastern). Join us 30 minutes early for pre-show networking or stick around following the main event four After Hour!

The Blindheim Passive House blends mass timber construction, pre-fabricated structural insulated panels (SIPs), generous glazing, and Passive House performance into a beautiful single family home in Vancouver, BC. The project is slated for Passive House Plus certification, thanks to a roof that incorporates German-made tempered glass tiles enclosing solar PV cells.

Don’t miss a fast, factual, and fun presentation by the project’s architect, Ian Robertson of ABBARCH Architecture, this Wednesday, August 19, at our Global Passive House Happy Hour. Ian will dive into the details, challenges encountered, and lessons learned from this exemplar of single family Passive House design and construction.
