PHI just announced that its 24th International Passive House Conference will be an online event. This will allow Passive House enthusiasts and building science geeks the world over the opportunity to take part in the conference in real time without having to travel to Berlin this September. The conversion to a digital platform applies not only to the presentations, workshops, and specialists’ exhibitions that are an integral part of the conference, but also to the more hands-on experiences of taking tours and networking.
“Because we are offering many events online and the feedback is overwhelmingly positive, it was obvious that we should offer a virtual Passive House Conference,” said Jan Steiger, a member of the management board. Unfortunately, because of the online format the Passive House Award will be postponed until 2021. However, applicants can still submit their certified Passive House buildings for the award here.
Though the specifics of the program are still in the works, this year’s focus will be how the building sector can contribute to a sustainable future. Stay tuned for more info!
