PHN Launches Regionally Oriented Hybrid Certified Passive House Designer Training

The Passive House Network is pleased to announce the release of their hybrid on-demand & live CPHD/C training organized to bring together regionally-based practitioners to meet and network locally. The course offers greater flexibility, access to local practitioners, and networking opportunities with fellow students while doing the bulk of the work online at your own pace. You get the best of both worlds.

Here’s how the courses work:

A course spans 10-16 weeks (depending on the local schedule) from kick-off to sitting the international PHI CPHD/C exam. It includes PHN’s On-Demand CPHD course with 2 Live (online where applicable) instructor-led webinars that dive into passive house calculations, a Q&A review session with local Passive House practitioners, and a site visit to a PH project to see the implementation of Passive House principles.

The courses also come with a Certificate of completion and 35 AIA LU/HSW credits. Upon passing the CPHD/C exam participants will receive certification as either a Passive House Designer or Passive House Consultant, depending on their credentials.

It’s as simple as that, you just need a couple of hours a week and with some dedication and out-of-the-box thinking (which we know you have because you are interested in Passive House) and you can be a Passive House certified professional within weeks.

And our partners in MA and CT are offering some exceptional incentives, where you can get either 50% or 100% off your CPHD/C training if you live or work in either state. Get more information here.

Still another option is to join our first one-week in-person training since the pandemic began, in Newton, MA.

The current regional start schedule is as follows (with more regions to follow):

Starting April 1: Connecticut & Maine

Starting May 2: Colorado

Starting May 6: NYC

In-Person: May 2-6, Newton, MA.

Don’t wait, get Passive House certified today!
