The winners of the most recent round of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority's Buildings of Excellence Competition were announced earlier this month. To date, the competition has awarded $58 million to sixty-five projects since launching in 2019. As a result, more than 8,100 units of housing have been built, almost 7,000 of which are designed to serve low- to moderate-income households.
