At last week’s Construction Tech, we heard from Craig Stevenson, president of AUROS Group; Derrick Tillman, founder of Bridging the Gap Development; and James Curry, senior associate of intelligent buildings at Newcomb & Boyd, about the Fifth and Dinwiddie project in Uptown Pittsburgh. It is Bridging the Gap Development’s newest development and consists of two buildings that will offer market-rate housing, affordable housing, and over 10,000 square feet of retail space. Both buildings are targeting Passive House certification, RESET Air certification, and Fitwel certification.
The three talked about the technique, technology, and technical aspects of high-performance building on a budget.
