Discovery Channels T.V. Series Features a Passive House Design

Passive House has hit the small screen! Jodi and Brian Abbott share their story as owner-builders with the Discovery Chanel’s TV series, Building Off the Grid. AB Passive House is targeting Passive House Plus certification and utilizes low carbon and fire-resistant construction adapted for the wildland-urban interface. Designed by Hyperlocal Workshop, the project is informed by its rugged mountain environment. Its massing is informed as a response to the adjacent rock outcropping.
