Energy efficiency is the key that ties everything together!

The Passive House Institute will highlight the unifying nature of energy efficiency at the 29th International Passive House Conference. The conference will take place from April 2 to 4, 2027, in Innsbruck. The Passive House Institute and the University of Innsbruck invite attendees to the university’s newly constructed Ágnes Heller House.

Energy efficiency is the key that ties everything together—including architecture and performance, modernization and acceptance, as well as sustainability and cost-effectiveness. Several lecture series at the conference in Innsbruck will focus on these and other aspects of improved energy efficiency. In addition, there will once again be numerous networking events, including a party in the evening.

Once again, an integral part of the International Passive House Conference is the trade show featuring highly energy-efficient building components and products. The exhibition in Innsbruck will be open to visitors without a conference ticket on the day before the conference begins.

On the third day of the conference (Sunday, April 4, 2027), field trips will be offered to impressive Passive House projects in Innsbruck and the surrounding area, where participants can experience high energy efficiency in practice. Workshops will take place in the lead-up to the conference, including specialized sessions for designers and local governments.
