Writing in Forbes yesterday, journalist Jeffrey Steele noted that many New York buyers increasingly see Passive House design as a key differentiator when they are considering a new home. More than just a way to reduce one’s energy use and utility bill, they recognize that the year-round thermal comfort and superior air quality make homes built to Passive House standards not only a greener, but a healthier alternative to conventional construction.
