Passive House Accelerator will be hosting a live stream of the fourth annual Buildings of Excellence Awards Ceremony on April 2nd at 10 am ET. The link to register can be found below.
Developed by the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority, the competition has awarded $58 million since beginning in 2019 to high-performance, replicable, clean, and resilient design and construction projects from throughout New York State. These awards support the state’s goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 85% by 2050 and advance Governor Kathy Hochul’s goal to achieve two million climate-friendly homes by 2030.
In addition to honoring this year's award winners, featured speakers during the hour-long ceremony will include:
