LAMILUX's goal of developing novel solutions to improve safety, ventilation, and daylighting affords designers more flexibility and, more importantly, allows people to live in healthier and more comfortable homes. These engineering solutions are applied to some of their most popular models, including the LAMILUX Glass Skylight FE and the LAMILUX Glass Roof PR60, as well as their latest product: the LAMILUX Modular Glass Skylight MS78.

The engineering behind the LAMILUX MS78 centers on a combination of the best of the LAMILUX Glass Skylight FE and the LAMILUX Glass Roof PR60. From the former, the LAMILUX MS78 borrows from its simplicity, opting for lean automated processes and uncomplicated roof integration connections. Additionally, both rely heavily on prefabrication, which reduces delivery times and improves quality control. The LAMILUX MS78 also borrows heavily from the LAMILUX Glass Roof PR60, which is known for allowing multi-pane glazing to provide interior spaces with abundant natural light, proven glass roof drainage, and superior ventilation through variable vent integration.

The LAMILUX MS78 is innovative in its own right, as well, allowing for even more design freedom. Modules are available in a variety of sizes, with widths ranging from 26.6" to 47.2" and heights ranging from 27.6" to 90.6", and can be installed with glazing inclinations from 5° to 30°. The high proportion of glass in larger module sizes allows for better daylighting and the combination of thermal-bridge-free design and excellent airtightness means that one does not have to sacrifice performance to bring light into interior spaces. The LAMILUX MS78 can be equipped with either double- or triple-pane glazing, allowing for U-values that range from Ug 0.11 -0.19 BTU/hr/sft/F.

In addition to exceptional performance and daylighting, the LAMILUX MS78’s native vent integration allows designers to freely plan the number of vents of any customized MS78 package without the need for fixed panels between modules. Unrestricted sash arrangement allows for optimal ventilation.
