Park Avenue Green in The Bronx Becomes Largest PHIUS+ Certified Passive House in United States

The Passive House Institute US announced that Omni New York’s Park Avenue Green, a 15-story affordable housing development in the Bronx, has received PHIUS+ certification. The announcement means Park Avenue Green is now the largest PHIUS+ certified Passive House building in North America.

Designed by Curtis + Ginsburg Architects and completed in 2018, the 154-unit building houses a combination of formerly homeless individuals and others who make up to 80% of the area median income.
