Prefab Highlights for 2023
Prefabrication has been a major topic for the Accelerator and the Passive House community for years, and we're lucky to have had the opportunity to feature so many projects that utilize panelization or modular construction in 2023 so far! One of the major obstacles to decarbonizing our buildings stock is scaling, and prefabrication offers a pathway to rapidly increase output to meet our housing needs while also bringing manufacturing jobs back to industrial centers.
