In this video, Sloan Ritchie and Brandon Nicholson present Pax Futura, the first Passive House apartment complex in Seattle. The mixed-use, urban infill building has 32 studio and one-bedroom apartments, three live-work units and commercial space at street level. The project is full of interesting high-performance details, from its SIPs envelope to its sliding exterior shades to its innovative domestic hot water systems.
