Submit Your Proposal for Green Building United's 2022 Sustainability Symposium Now Through February 15
Green Building United is accepting session proposals for their 2022 Sustainability Symposium now through 11:59 pm, Friday, February 15. The symposium celebrates ideas, projects, and policies that promote the creation of an equitable and decarbonized built environment.
The 2022 Sustainability Symposium will be a hybrid event that takes place on Friday, May 6th. The in-person component will take place at Penn State at The Navy Yard. According to Green Building United, "The Symposium offers a full-day of educational sessions presented, both live and online, covering cutting-edge green building and sustainability topics and industry best practices, including LEED, Passive House, Living Building Challenge, Enterprise, WELL, green stormwater infrastructure, 2030 Districts, and more."
Session Criteria
All sessions must be 1 hour and eligible for GBCI, AIA, PHIUS and/or ILFI continuing education units (CEUs). Please download the Session Submission Guidance document to learn more about what is required to successfully submit a session that qualifies for CEUs.
The information you submit in the application is what will be used for the CEU submission. If your session is selected, Green Building United will submit your session for continuing education credits on your behalf. This means you do not need to submit your session for CEU approval prior to submitting a session proposal.
If you need some ideas to get your creative juices flowing, you can check out the sessions from the 2021 Symposium!
Should your session be selected, you will be required to submit course materials in the form of a presentation or slide deck a month prior to the conference.
For questions, please contact Marjorie Alexander, Education and Engagement Manager at [email protected]. If you wish to submit presentations and/or additional relevant session materials, please send a DropBox link or .zip file to Marjorie.
