Thanks to You, We Posted Big Numbers in 2021
What a challenging, inspiring, terrible, breakthrough, resilience-demanding, resilience-building, crazy year 2021 has been. For all of us at Passive House Accelerator, YOU have carried us through. (Hey, thanks.)
Despite it all (or…because of it all?), we posted some big numbers at Passive House Accelerator. That's thanks to all of you showing up and building community, to the thought leaders who shared so much with that community, to the hard work and talents of our staff and cohosts, and, of course, to the underwriting from our sponsors that sustains our work.
Here are a few stats from our 2021 at Passive House Accelerator:
110 live events (Happy Hours, Showcases, Construction Techs, Component Spotlights, Summits, etc.), with a combined audience of 15,864 (granted, there’s double-counting of individual audience members here…but we're pretty happy with this number).
92 Passive House Podcast episodes with 80,032 downloads.
216 videos published to Youtube with 35,368 views.
408 articles published to our website (as well as 2 issues of the Passive House Accelerator Magazine), with website page views now exceeding 33,000 per month, a 100% increase from 12 months ago.
3 series of interviews (and bonus podcast episodes) conducted at the conferences of The Passive House Network, Passive House Institute, and Phius.
1 new website and 2 new home page designs launched.
1 complete set of creative commons Passive House explainer graphics and explainer text released and shared with the community.
7,200 subscribers (a 76% increase year-on-year) and 7,762 followers on Instagram (a 61% increase).
We saw similar growth across our other social channels, and topped the magical 1,000 follower threshold on Youtube, which is exciting. (Does this make us a Youtuber?) We also launched a UK/Ireland show in collaboration with Hugh Whiriskey and Iulia Potor, building up trans-Atlantic relationships and programming.
And we have big, new plans for 2022. (More on that later.)
From all of us at Passive House Accelerator, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We hope you all have a wonderful and regenerative holiday break and New Year celebration!
