Two Passive House Projects Nominated for Australia's 2020 House Awards

Of the 26 homes that were short-listed for the Sustainability category for Australia’s 2020 Houses Awards, two are projects built to the Passive House standard: House for All Seasons by Poly Studio and Owl Woods Passive House by Talina Edwards Architecture. The former, which has not been certified at this time, is designed to accommodate the needs of urban families and is located in Cremorne, an inner suburb of Melbourne. The latter, which has been certified, relies on biophilic design to allow the home to better blend into the bucolic landscape of Trentham.
