Passive House Open House

Wednesday, March 26 6 - 8pm EDT

409 Sackett Street Brooklyn, NY 11231

Ingui Architecture, NYPH, and Corcoran invite you to join us at a recently completed Passive House townhouse, which recently hit the market.

Come walk through and celebrate the completion of a Passive-Certified townhouse that followed Ingui Architecture’s systematic approach to successful passive house projects. We recently restored this single-family townhouse, creating a light-filled home with a sculptural stair that seamlessly connects the spaces from the top floor to the cellar.

This house will be certified via the Passive House Institute’s EnerPHit pathway and recently passed its final blower door test at 0.23 ACH. Meet the build team and passive house team that helped make this happen and enjoy a night of conversation.

409 Sackett was recently put on the market, listed by Ellen Gottlieb of Corcoran. See the listing here: 409 Sackett Street, Brooklyn NY. Thanks to Ellen for all her hard work, and to Cathy Hobbs of Cathy Hobbs Design Recipes for staging the house!

To learn more about our systematic approach ahead of the Open House, please join us virtually Wednesday, March 19th at 12:00 PM ET on Passive House Accelerator’s Construction Tech, where Michael Ingui will take you behind the scenes of four different job sites, showing projects from demo to completion. Sign up here: Peeling Back the Layers of a Passive House Renovation | Passive House Accelerator.

Thank you to New York Passive House and everyone who made the project possible, including Marc Fabris and Lindsay Barranco of Ingui Architecture, Claire Fleming of BIA Interiors, BZJ Construction, bldgtyp, Ikon Windows and Doors, Partel, Zehnder, Mitsubishi, Sto, and Stego.
