Event presented by Reimagine Buildings Collective

Friday, February 6th from 12pm-1pm eastern (Virtual)

New York City’s Passive House work is happening at the intersection of design ambition, regulatory complexity, and real-world delivery—and Amy Failla has been helping lead the way. A Principal at Ingui Architecture, Amy joins us for an open-format AMA focused on what it actually takes to deliver high-performance buildings in challenging urban and historic contexts with deep-energy retrofit design.

About Amy Failla, Principal at Ingui Architecture

Amy is a Registered Architect, Certified Passive House Designer, and Principal at Ingui Architecture. She has been with the firm since 2007 and has been part of some of the office’s most exciting projects.  Because of her ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and builders, she has become a leader in the office’s sustainability efforts. This includes the First Certified Passive House in a Landmarked District, which helped to create the firm’s repeatable approach to completing successful passive houses. She was also the lead team manager on our Brooklyn Heights Passive Rowhouse, as well as our ongoing NYSERDA Buildings of Excellence Award-winning project, Engine 16.

The Reimagine Buildings Collective is where we bring together builders, designers, and changemakers driven to create healthy, climate-ready buildings so that we can share hard-won lessons, level up our practices, and build the networks we need to thrive. Join us!
