Friday, September 26th from 12pm-1pm eastern (Virtual)

We’re continuing the conversation!
Our recent PHA Live Project of the Month spotlighted the groundbreaking Colonial II retrofit—the first net zero carbon multifamily retrofit in New York State. We’re taking that momentum forward inside the Reimagine Buildings Collective, where practitioners share resources, discuss lessons learned, and connect year-round.

Highlights from the session include:

  • How deep energy retrofits can transform aging affordable housing into high-performance, zero-carbon buildings that serve vulnerable populations

  • The technical strategies behind Colonial II’s transformation—from geothermal and on-site PV to façade replacement and heat pump domestic hot water

  • How energy modeling evolved from pre-design through as-built to achieve true zero-carbon performance

  • The setbacks, adjustments, and innovations that enabled certification under NGBS and ENERGY STAR Multifamily New Construction

  • Lessons on planning, design, and execution that can be applied to other multifamily retrofits across the country
