About Kimberly Llewellyn, Co-Owner, Blue Rabbit Consulting
Kimberly's mission is to support owners and developers to define their project goals for creating healthy, functional, beautiful buildings that last. This includes working with consulting engineers, architects and skilled contractors to evaluate existing structures or proposed designs through those lenses of resiliency, efficiency, health and profitability. Her background in Environmental Engineering has been put to use in the construction industry since 2010 working as a mechanical designer and educator on the subject of VRF and healthy, integrated mechanical system design. Field work as a HERS rater and building failure consultant shaped her holistic, field-based perspective. Because it’s crucial to balance theory and practice, she keeps her boots dirty, holds skilled trades in very high regard and refuses to gloss over inconvenient field realities.
