475.Supply is excited to present their latest foam-free solution with their newest manufacturing partner. Diasen is the manufacturer of Diathonite Thermactive and Agratherm. Together they form a cork-based insulating stucco / plaster system for interior and exterior applications. Providing approximately R-4 per inch of insulation, it combines continuous insulation with a finish-ready substrate for interior plaster or exterior stucco, without foam boards or joints. Made from renewable cork granules left over from wine cork processing, natural hydraulic lime, perlite, cellulose, and pumice, the system is well-suited for masonry retrofits and historic renovations where moisture management is important.
About the Speakers
Aaron McCormack joined 475 High Performance Building Supply in 2017 after working for four years with European partner, Ecological Building Systems, in Ireland. He serves as the Director of Technical Development and manages the team of Product Consultants while engaging in product development and testing.
Francesco Marcelli, Diasen’s Global Development Manager, will join us from Italy to introduce the material and discuss its applications.
