Passive House models can provide tremendous insight to design teams, and can help drive better building performance. However these models come at a cost in both time and money for teams to create. Ed May (Partner in the consulting firm bldgtyp, an architecture and consulting firm based in Brooklyn NY.) will join the Accelerator and dive into the question of Passive House models and discuss how teams can get the most value out of these important tools. We'll look at where, and when, models can provide the most useful information. We'll also discuss how many teams are not utilizing these models to the fullest right now, and some tips for how to effectively and responsibly create early stage models during the design phase.
This free presentation will take place on Wednesday, September 18th at 9am PT / 12pm ET and will be followed by a lively Q+A session. Don't miss this opportunity to learn from an industry leader and engage with the PHA community. See you there!
