Michael Ingui interviews Jake Bruton for this episode of Reimagine Construction.
Jake is a widely recognized industry thought leader and custom home builder based in Kansas City and Columbia, Missouri. As the second-generation owner of Aarow Building, Jake brings his education in art and architecture to energy-efficient, durable, and architecturally significant homes. He’s no stranger to our community—many of you know Jake from his appearances on the Build Show, as co-host of the UnBuild It Podcast, as a contributing editor for the Journal of Light Construction, or from his work with Fine Homebuilding. A seasoned speaker, Jake has presented at top industry events including IBS, JLC Live, the Fine Homebuilding Summit, and the Building Science Symposium. His decades of experience renovating or repairing nearly every mistake made in residential construction have helped him build smarter from the start.
Jake and Michael will dive into all of this and more in their interview, followed by a lively Q&A session.
