Nick Nigro is leading one of the most ambitious housing redevelopments underway in the country: the 15-building Bunker Hill Housing Redevelopment. In this Reimagine Construction fireside chat, Nick joins Michael Ingui to unpack how his team is rethinking project delivery at scale—leveraging prefabricated panelization, CLT floor systems, Passive House principles, and iterative learning from building to building to reduce energy use, material consumption, costs, and both embodied and operational carbon.
About Nick Nigro - Senior Project Manager at Leggat McCall Properties LLC
Nick is a Senior Project Manager overseeing day-to-day project management on complex design and construction projects for both clients and LMP’s principal portfolio. With 15+ years of real estate experience, he has worked on academic, residential, infrastructure, and commercial projects and is a LEED Accredited Professional. Nick is currently working on the 2,699 unit Bunker Hill Housing Redevelopment in Charlestown. Prior to LMP, Nick spent 12 years with Suffolk Construction after graduating from Penn State University with a Bachelors and Masters in Architectural Engineering.
