Carmel Pratt is the founder of ZAZNRG, a human-centered sustainability practice integrating building science and mindfulness, as well as Executive Director of New York Passive House. A building scientist, energy consultant, and community organizer, she works at the intersection of people and buildings—advancing decarbonization, climate justice, and environmental education. Carmel also serves as Executive Director of New York Passive House, scaling healthy, comfortable, resilient, carbon-neutral buildings for all.
