The Summer Sessions continue with Sally in conversation with interviewer Michael Ingui on the challenges shaping Passive House practice in the UK and beyond, followed by open discussion with RBC members. Expect a candid look at where heat pump performance is falling short and what's actually achievable right now, how to measure and reduce embodied and whole-life carbon with tools practitioners can use today, and the sizing, flow-temperature, and controls problems behind so many heat pump complications—along with the fixes that work in the field.

About Sally Godber
Sally is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer, Passivhaus Certifier, and member of the UK Technical Panel for Passivhaus Trust, with extensive experience in designing and certifying
low-energy buildings from low-rise residential to large and complex leisure centres.
After starting a career in building services, she went on to set up WARM with her dad Peter Warm; his deep passion for energy performance was infectious and she’s still trying to figure out the ultimate best building ever.
In 2013 she helped build the WARM EnerPHit office, 2017 completed her own certified Passivhaus home and 2020 completed a retrofit to EnerPHit standards of a Pub.
