Reimagine Summer Session with Tomás O'Leary

Event presented by Reimagine Buildings Collective

Tuesday, July 7th from 12pm-1pm eastern (Virtual)

Tomás O'Leary has spent decades making the case for Passive House, and it's working.

A global leader in high-performance building and a driving force behind Zero Energy Building (ZEB) adoption, Tomás has trained hundreds of certified Passive House designers and consultants through PHI certification. In Ireland, where some of the country's largest home developers have embraced Passive House at scale, his tireless advocacy over the years is a big part of why.

He's also, by all accounts, genuinely entertaining — which makes for a better 90 minutes.

The Summer Sessions kick off July 7 with Tomás in conversation with interviewer Michael Ingui on three problems in Passive House multi-family delivery: how to handle corridor ventilation when passive and active approaches both have a case, how modern methods of construction can compress timelines without compromising performance, and what it actually takes to close the cost gap.

90 minutes. Three challenges. Three solutions. Come with questions.
