Steve is principal of Home Energy Services, a San Francisco Bay Area consulting firm that provides sustainability and energy-efficiency consulting and training services. The company specializes in California energy code analysis and compliance, sustainable certification programs, and Passive House design, construction, and certification. The firm has worked on dozens of high-performance buildings in California, Japan, and the Philippines.
Steve’s credentials include Certified Passive House Consultant, Builder, Tradesperson, Certifier, and Trainer, LEED AP+ Homes, Certified Energy Analyst, LEED for Homes Rater, and California HERS Rater. He just completed building his second Passive House.
