Marius Șoflete, a specialized Passive House construction engineer, stopped by at the June 8 Construction Tech. Marius is a carpenter, lecturer, and Passive House enthusiast (he even built the 1st Passive House in Romania!), who has participated in international solar house competitions, built shelters in the mountains by helicopter, and founded Creative Engineering in 2013. He and his team at Creative Engineering focus on low-impact Passive House projects and raising awareness about the benefits of high-performance building.
Coming to us all the way from Romania, Marius not only presented on Eastern Europe's largest CLT Passive House office building (which went from the drawing board to completed in about 300 days), he also entered his hat in the race for Best Cinematography in Passive House Video award.
