Passive House Sessions at Building Energy Boston
BuildingEnergy Boston is a conference for high-performance building and design, energy efficiency, and renewable energy professionals. This year's event will be held virtually, Wednesday-Friday, May 5-7.
The sessions below have a focus on passive design, pre-fab high performance or embodied carbon and I think will be of interest to those of you who run with the Passive House Accelerator crowd. View all conference sessions here.
BuildingEnergy Boston is hands-down my favorite conference out there. The reason is simple: the content is curated better than any other conferences I’ve attended. Sessions are carefully chosen from an amazing number and quality of proposals so you get the best, most relevant content. Speakers don’t write presentations night before, don’t overlap with other panelists, and have engaging presentations, all because an industry expert on the Content Committee has helped presenters rehearse and improve their sessions before finalized.
I’m speaking on Friday at “Proof is in the Project: Built Passive Multifamily Cost and Performance” and I also curated the session “MassTimber Construction in the Northeast”. Come join. They are both great.
Those of you working in affordable housing, please reach out to me at [email protected] for a substantial discount code. And also please invite colleagues of color because NESEA, like PHA, is working to engage more diverse voices in our movement. If cost is an issue, please reach out to me for scholarship information.
