1. TUE: Joise Constantini Shares PH Window Install Details

Josie Constantini joins us on the July 6 episode of Construction Tech Tuesday to dive into the technique, technology, and technical aspects of Passive House window installation details. Currently, Josie is a project manager at Schilthuis Construction and a PHIUS Certified Passive House Consultant. Learn more.

2. WED: The Hidden Story of Building Injustice, Satpal Kaur

Satpal Kaur, recent recipient of the 40 Under 40 Award by Building Design+Construction, will share The Hidden Story of Building Injustice at the Global Passive House Happy Hour on July 7. Satpal brings decades of experimental building science experience to her work as an architect with an emphasis on Passive House and energy efficiency. Learn more.

3. NOW LIVE: Episode 46 of the Passive House Podcast

Mary James and Ilka Cassidy interview Grace Park-Bradbury, general manager west and head of strategic initiatives for Blocpower. Since Blocpower’s founding in 2014, the company has retrofitted more than 1,000 buildings in disadvantaged communities in New York City, with projects underway in 24 cities. Grace discusses her role in stitching together financing incentives for their customers, ensuring that health and comfort are not exclusively available to those with money. Listen here.

4. 2021 New Gravity, Accelerated Edition

Passive House Accelerator is partnering with Green Building United for the 5th annual New Gravity housing conference: 2021 New Gravity, Accelerated Edition. New Gravity is focused on discussing and promoting policies and practices that support high-performance affordable housing. This year will feature four virtual interactive sessions ranging from technical insight on projects to broader market transformation discussions, and participants will be joining across the globe! 5. Save the Date: Fall Conferences & Summits

25th International Passive House Conference (September 10-11)
The conference is planned as an in-person event in the historical City Hall of Wuppertal, Germany, on September 10 and 11. There will also be online offerings accompanying the event to reach a global audience. Tower Retrofit Symposium 2021 Passive House Canada (September 22-23)
Across Canada, tall buildings are on the cusp of a major market shift, driven by our need to drastically reduce emissions and capture a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform deep energy retrofits.
