This is a 171 social housing project, with 28 floors. It is located in Bolueta, a neighbourhood of Bilbao, in the North of Spain. The project is been designed under the Passivhaus standard
In 2014 won the “Best” calification in the International competition of good practice of United Nations, in Abu Dabi. It is a residential tower, with the particularity of a great height. This means that some of the solutions are going to be imposed by the own characteristics of the tower, or its intended use. The materials employed must be the usuals in this kind of construction, and also approved by the technical criteria of the owner,Visesa, based on their experience building thousands of social housings.
