International Women's Day: Sheroes of Passive House

From our perspective at the Accelerator, it’s pretty clear that the world would be a better place—more peaceful, just, and healthy—if women were in charge of…well…everything. The Passive House community is what it is today thanks to the women who lead at every level, whether it be Passive House organizations, Passive House architecture, Passive House engineering and consulting, construction, manufacturing, policymaking, you name it.

In celebration of International Women’s Day we are pleased to highlight the Accelerator’s recent “Sheroes of Passive House” series. It was inspired by one of the highlights of the PHIUS 14th North American Passive House Conference: the “PH Divas” panel session, featuring pecha kucha-style presentations by seven trailblazers in Passive House architecture. We were honored to publish each presentation as an article, and we share links to all seven below.

If you haven’t read them already, we think you’ll find these stories inspiring. And these seven stories really just barely scratch the surface. So many women are propelling the Passive House movement.

We wish you a very happy International Women’s Day!
