1. WED: How to NOT Put a Pin In It with Shaun St-Amour

Rounding out our month of airtightness Shaun St-Amour will join us on the February 23 Passive House Live Construction Tech edition. Shaun, co-founder and co-host of Construction Tech, will dive into the tiniest issues that can pose some of the biggest challenges to the blower door score. Episode 5 of our UK/Ireland-based Building Performance Interactive series is entitled “PHribbon calculates the embodied carbon in a new masonry building" and will address the power of the PHribbon tool to enable designers to achieve accurate calculations of the full lifetime embodied carbon for Passive Houses and low energy buildings including retrofits. Guest cohosts Ilka Cassidy and Mary James interview Clara Ha, an educator and a licensed architect working in New York City. She is an Associate at ChoShields Studio, a Passive House Certified architecture studio, where she oversees small to medium scale projects designed for a sustainable environment. She has taught architecture at the New York Institute of Technology since 2011 before joining Pratt in 2019 and has held an architectural workshop in Copenhagen, Denmark. Listen here.
