Join us for ROCKWOOL North America’s special Passive House Component Spotlight diving into stone wool solutions for Passive House projects on Thursday, October 7. Mahnaz Nikbakht, architectural manager of Eastern Canada, and Robert Blount, architectural manager for New England, will team up to talk about residential, industrial, and large-scale project applications, like the Cornell Tech Tower in New York City. Bayer, associate principal and direction of sustainability at Magnusson architecture, joins us on October 6 to showcase the NYSERDA Buildings of Excellence Round 1 winner Rheingold Senior Residences. Rheingold Senior is an affordable housing project beginning construction this fall. The senior living development seeks to balance costs, embodied carbon, comfort, and health considerations.
