October Is Heat Pump Month at the Accelerator
October is heat pump month at the Accelerator! Heat pumps are a vital part of the decarbonization equation, as they are far more efficient than furnaces because they move heat rather than create it. In ideal conditions, they can deliver up to 5 units of heat energy for every 1 unit of electrical energy used (i.e., a certificate of performance or COP of 5.0). You can learn more about heat pumps by checking out the articles and video below and by signing up for the (free) Heat Pump Solutions Symposium October 23 from 12-3 PM ET!
